The first touch of the ritual

The ARDENT Ritual opens here, with the flower in its most tactile form. Real rose petals, finely milled, folded into soft kaolin and rose clay, with colloidal oat to keep the polish gentle.

The clays do the quiet work. Kaolin is the gentlest clay in common use, softer than a bentonite or a French green, and it does two jobs at once: absorbs excess oil and lightly polishes, without pulling skin dry the way stronger clays will. Rose clay gives the mask its blush color and a light purifying pull. The oat buffers both of them. And the petals add the rest of the polish, soft enough to lift dull surface cells and nothing rougher than that. This is the flower itself on your skin, whole, rather than an extract of an extract.

Skin comes out smoother to the touch, clearer, and refreshed. Makeup sits better on it. Serum sinks in further. Run this before the Black Castor + Rose 93 Serum and the serum has bare, ready skin to work on.

Who it is for

Skin that wants a polish without a scrub. Kaolin is the clay recommended for sensitive and dry skin, so this works where a stronger mask would leave you tight and red.

How to use

Step 04, three times a week. Blend a spoonful with a little water into a smooth paste. Smooth over clean skin, avoiding the eye area. Let it sit five to ten minutes, until it is mostly dry but still slightly tacky. Massage gently with damp fingertips, then rinse with warm water.

Follow with the Black Castor + Rose 93 Serum while skin is still damp, and finish lips with the Rosebud Luxe Lip Balm 95.
