Fourteen years ago, I traded my corporate career and stilettos for bib overalls and the beautiful chaos of new motherhood. What I didn’t realize at the time was that this leap of faith would lead me on a journey beyond anything I could have imagined—one that would eventually ripple into a global impact.

I was so excited to embrace this new chapter, but, like so many mothers, I quickly found myself deep in the throes of sleepless nights and exhaustion that clung to me like a shadow, no matter how much rest I got. My skin rebelled against every product I tried, even the “natural” ones, and it felt like my body was constantly out of sync. You know that feeling when something just feels “off,” no matter what you do? That was my reality.

While my skin and body were clearly out of balance, our finances—and every other area of life—were stretched thin. We were barely making ends meet, and in my deepest heart of hearts, I longed for more. I didn’t just want to survive the day-to-day; I wanted to build something meaningful. I dreamt of creating a legacy, helping people, and transforming my life and well-being.

I vividly remember dreaming of the day I wouldn’t have to put the fruit and cheese back on the grocery shelf. One night, my husband Nathan came home after trying to sell a $25 gift card for gas money but came home empty-handed. In an attempt to sell it for half the card's value, we were desperate for $12.50. That moment was a breaking point. It was in this season of great struggle and uncertainty that I prayed a simple prayer that led me to a divine strategy in a dream, setting me on the entrepreneurial path of a lifetime —one that would change everything. What started as a quest for transformation became a calling to help others find theirs, sparking the birth of The Alchemy Code. 

Alchemy is the art of turning the ordinary into the extraordinary. It’s about taking what’s simple, natural, and pure, and elevating it into something golden—something with the power to transform. This is the foundation of our brand, the Alchemy Code: a lifestyle rooted in harnessing the earth’s most potent elements to unlock your own radiant transformation.

In the early days, I would nurse my son with one arm while studying herbal chemistry in the other, fitting in my research in every pocket of the day.

Our home became a sanctuary, an apothecary—a place where friends, family, and new faces gathered, drawn by the comforting aromas of herbs and oils. We would pour bottles together, share stories over tea, and breathe in the healing vibrance that filled the air. It wasn’t just a business; it was a community built on connection and wellness.

True beauty and wellness go beyond the skin. We often hear that food is medicine, but I have seen firsthand that skincare is too. The connection between root cause beauty and what we eat, breathe, and apply to our skin is undeniable. True wellness is a way of life—one that we were created for.

Today, I’m a wife of 21 years, master herbalist and Board Certified Doctor of Natural Health, and a mother to five energetic boys. The Alchemy Code has become a reflection of my heart’s mission: to help others find their freedom and live the life they dream of. It's about so much more than skincare—it’s a journey of transformation for the body, spirit, and soul.
