A rose balm for lips that crack, peel, and will not stay soft no matter how often you reapply.

The reason this one lasts is kokum butter. Kokum is harder than shea or cocoa, hard enough to be brittle at room temperature, and it melts at the temperature of your skin and then sets again into a firm film. A soft balm melts off within the hour. This one goes on, settles, and stays put. Golden beeswax seals it down.

Underneath that, camellia oil conditions. It is a light, fast-sinking oil, the one Japanese women have used on skin and hair for centuries, and it keeps the balm from feeling heavy. Castor oil gives it the gloss, the same oil that anchors the Black Castor + Rose 93 Serum.

Then the infusion. Fig, calendula, and rose petals sit in oil until it takes on what they carry. Calendula is the plant people have reached for on chapped and split skin for as long as anyone has written these things down. Rose absolute finishes it, and the aroma is the reason the tube will not stay in your bag.

What it does

It locks moisture into lips that are cracked, chapped, or peeling, and holds it there. Lips look fuller because they are properly hydrated. The finish is silky rather than waxy or slick.

We were surprised by this one ourselves. Soft all day on a single application, no reapplying. We kept reaching for it anyway, because of how it smells.
