Why I Love Pomegranate Oil for Your Skin

Why I Love Pomegranate Oil for Your Skin

There are a few ingredients I’ve come to think of as old friends… ones I reach for when I’m creating something for skin that needs deep nourishment. Pomegranate oil is one of them.

Years ago, when I first began studying herbal remedies and cold-pressed oils, I came across a story about ancient Royalty using pomegranate for skin renewal. They would crush the fruit, pulp and all, and press the oils into their cheeks as a sign of vitality. That image stayed with me… women of old using plants for beauty.

What makes this oil so special isn’t just its history, though that part enchants me - it’s the way it’s extracted. The tiny ruby seeds are cold-pressed (no heat, no solvents, nothing disruptive), yielding a golden oil that’s incredibly concentrated in punicic acid, an omega-5 fatty acid known for its ability to promote elasticity and skin regeneration.

On your fingertips, it’s a silky, lightweight oil - one that absorbs slowly, like it's lingering on purpose. It doesn’t sit on the surface, but goes deeper. Nourishing tired, depleted skin. Restoring bounce. Adding a touch of glow that feels alive.

I chose pomegranate oil for Blackberry Leaf Serum because it’s like renewing magic for your skin when infused with the herbal and essential oils I chose, which just needs to remember what it feels like to be fed, not just coated.

From brightening to firming, this serum is nature’s kiss for aging, oily and breakout prone skin.

It also just so happens to be our number one best selling Facial Serum.

Blackberries are in season and I thought it would be the perfect homage to this beautiful herb.
