We had just come home from a super late-night dinner party, filled with lots of conversations, new people, and, yes, smokey eyes, dangly earrings, and all the glitz. I was fully glam and fully engulfed in the comfort of bed when Nathan walked into the room.
He knows I preach the gospel of the “no makeup zone” pretty passionately, so naturally, he raised an eyebrow.
“Of course not. I’m just lying here waiting for the facial fairies to come do my ritual for me.”
Haha. I, of course, proceeded to peel myself out of bed because truly there’s nothing quite like waking up to a face that feels clean, calm, and deeply cared for.
Yes. I almost went to bed with makeup on.
A thing we do sometimes that ultimately causes progressive aging, breakouts, and so much more.

1. Double Cleanse
Start with a balm or oil cleanser to melt away makeup, potions, and buildup. Follow with a gentle herbal soap or second cleanse to sweep away debris and leave your skin soft, soothed, never stripped. Currently, with spring in bloom, I use our Oil Cleanser with our Courage Bar.

2. Tone
Mist or sweep on a botanical toner to balance pH, hydrate, and prepare the skin to drink in what’s next. Think of it as watering the soil before planting. I love our Rose Toner - it contains kombucha to fuel healthy microbiome activity. The best for glowing skin.
3. Treat (Serum)
Now’s the time for your most active ingredients. Apply your serum while the skin is still damp from toning. 4. Hydrate
