Garlic Elixir for Introverts

Garlic Elixir for Introverts

Posted by Jaime Cross on

Totally kidding about the introverts... but let’s just say, on garlic detox days, you might feel more comfortable staying home. This potent tonic is no joke—expect the garlic aroma to come through your pores. It’s part of the magic.
Garlic is one of nature’s most powerful antibacterial and liver-supporting herbs. When paired with citrus, ginger, and olive oil, it becomes a cleansing powerhouse that helps reduce inflammation and revitalize your system.

What You’ll Need:
  • Fresh citrus fruit (I prefer oranges) 40-50
  • 25 garlic cloves (whole, not chopped or minced)
  • 5 thumb-sized pieces of fresh ginger
  • 25 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • Juicer (or cheesecloth) and blender
How to Make It:
  1. Juice 8-10 of your citrus of choice. Keep the peel on just one of the fruits to add a bit of zest and extra oils.
  2. If you don’t have a juicer, peel your citrus and blend, then strain through cheesecloth.
  3. Add the citrus juice to a blender with:
    • 1 whole garlic clove (start here on day one, and add one more each day until you reach 5 cloves on day five)
    • 1 thumb of ginger (no need to peel—just toss it in)
    • 5 Tbs olive oil
  4. Blend well. Add a little ice if you want it cooler.
  5. Drink immediately while fresh and active—don’t let it sit.
The Protocol:
Drink this garlic-citrus tonic first thing every morning for five days straight. It supports your liver, reduces inflammation, and boosts energy and clarity.
