This Bright, Grassy Herb for Clear, Vibrant Skin

There was a time, long before I ever became an herbalist, when I genuinely thought lemongrass was a citrus oil. I mean, lemon is right there in the name. But I hadn’t stopped to consider the grass part. Haha… of course you probably knew. But back then, I was still learning.

The very first time I worked with lemongrass, I was experimenting with a scrubby little soap bar, infused with exfoliating strawberry seeds. It was bright, fresh, and alluring. I used some spirulina to make a green swirl and it went bananas at the markets. I remember the way it clung to my skin, my clothes, the air. Maybe one day I’ll bring that bar back.

Now, whenever we pour our batches, be it Soap, handcut 400 bars at a time, or our silky Balms, the room transforms. The essence of plants rises like a mist, wrapping around everything. One moment it’s like stepping into a mountain stream, the next a jungle canopy or a sun-drenched desert garden in full bloom. Our shop becomes a living, breathing apothecary in the best possible way.

If you’ve ever ordered from us, chances are you’ve had a mailman or neighbor ask you “What’s in that box?”

That’s the magic of real ingredients. They linger. They speak. And they remind you that healing begins with something as simple as a blade of grass

Lemongrass is a tall, aromatic blade that sways in tropical climates and holds one of nature’s most purifying essential oils. Harvested from sun-drenched fields across Southeast Asia, where tall, slender stalks sway in the warm breeze and the air hums with the sound of cicadas? For centuries, farmers have harvested it by hand, tying the fragrant green blades into bundles that fill the air with a crisp, citrus aroma.

Unlike citrus oils, which are cold-pressed from fruit peels, lemongrass is steam-distilled from its fibrous stalks, a slow, deliberate process that captures the plant’s natural vitality and purity releasing a warm, lemony essence that clears the skin, calms the nervous system, and lifts the spirit. It’s both refreshing, uplifting, and restorative.

When applied topically, lemongrass refreshes and tones. It helps balance natural oils, softens rough patches, and awakens tired skin. Its essence is naturally uplifting, a burst of sunlit energy I personally love to carry with me everywhere I go.

When I infused it into our ABLE Omni Balm, that resilience, that bright vitality, became something you could hold in your hand, a Balm that makes you feel unstoppABLE, unforgettABLE, and unshakABLE.

This is your invitation to step into that vitality, to bring the warmth and brightness of lemongrass with you everywhere, and let your skin breathe in its life-giving energy.
