Hot Flashes & Perimenopause

Hot Flashes & Perimenopause

Posted by Jaime Cross on

A few years ago a friend of mine experiencing perimenopause messaged me and asked if I knew our comfHERt balm was amazing for hot flashes. I originally created it for menstrual cramps and PMS, so I was excited to hear that the benefits were spilling over into other areas of female balance!

I loooved creating this Balm… it’s aroma is so alluring it doubles as solid perfume and all around HER booster for women experiencing peri, PMS, and cramps.

My favorite ingredient here is the copaiba, often spoken of in healing circles as nature's aspirin.

For millennia, healers have turned to the resin of the copaiba tree, a towering beauty native to the Amazon rainforest. From its golden sap comes copaiba essential oil, a  remarkable ally known for its high beta-caryophyllene content, a compound that directly interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system. This means it can soothe inflammation, calm the nervous system, and ease discomfort, naturally.

When blended into our comfHERt Balm, copaiba becomes even more powerful. Surrounded by farm-fresh beeswax and olive oil, the herbal infusions of passionflower, raspberry leaf, and arnica help calm tension, especially beneficial for cramps. Essential oils of lavender, chamomile, clary sage, and sandalwood layer in to relax body and mind, while a gentle hint of cinnamon bark warms circulation.

Every ingredient works in harmony, copaiba unlocking relief, arnica easing soreness, chamomile helping to calm stress, and beeswax sealing in comfort. The result is more than a balm, it’s a full-body sigh of relief.

Here’s your friendly neighborhood herbalist's reminder to let copaiba and her botanical companions join the orchestra of herbal remedies.
